GWU Thurston Hall: Renovation of a 1,000 student dormitory. Project included a complete renovation of high-rise fire alarm system, creation of fire command center, replacement of emergency generator, new fire pump electrical service and renovation of two traction elevators.
AT&T Monrovia: 35,000 SF telephone switch and DC power plant, which included redundant services to support the new telephone switching facility. Two separate 3000A service entrance switchboards, as well as, 2-1500 kW parallel standby generating system. Design included SCADA system to allow owner to remotely monitor electrical system.
Sprint Herndon Lab: 17,000 SF renovation comprised of electronics lab, DC power plant, RF testing chambers and UPS room. Design features included New 3000-amp, 277/480-volt electric service 2000 kW standby generator, 500 kVA uninterruptible power supply.
E. Alex Wareham IV
Mr. Wareham has 30 years of experience in the Electrical Engineering field. Mr. Wareham’s engineering experience includes work in new and renovated telecommunication facilities, commercial office buildings, educational facilities, retail, and medical facilities. His responsibilities include building analysis, design of electrical distribution systems, fire alarm systems, UPS systems, switchboard replacements, budget estimating and construction administration.
