Select project Experience

Verizon Rockville Bldg. Addition: Mechanical designer for 10,000 SF building addition and upgrade.  Project included new 125 ton redundant chiller plant andcentralized penthouse AHU’s.

Potomac United Methodist Church: Mechanical designer for new 50,000 SF private church school.  Project included 70 ton chiller plant,  1 million btu boiler plant and six AHU’s ranging in size from 40 tons down to 15tons.

Direct-TV Uplink Facilities: Mechanical designer for 24x7 uplink facilities requiring fully redundant electrical and mechanical systems. Each facility is comprised of two separate buildings,(primary and back up)  which house the communication uplink equipment that work in conjunction with satellite antennas at the sites.            Mechanical design included computer room glycol cooling systems equipped with humidity controls.

Jon Wareham

Mr.  Wareham entered the engineering field in 1986 as an electrical draftsman working for his father at his firm of Gormley/Wareham Associates, P.A.  In 1987, Gormley/Wareham merged with SME Consulting Engineers, where Mr. Wareham continued in the electrical field until 1988.  In 1991 Mr. Wareham rejoined SME and transitioned to the mechanical engineering field.  In 1998 he joined Encon Group as a mechanical designer.  In 2001, Mr. Wareham joined DesignTech Inc. as a mechanical designer and project manager.  Since joining DesignTech,  Mr. Wareham has added to his other duties business development of local, state and federal government contracts.
