Midtown Generator Replacement
The project scope of work included design for two 1,000 KW stand-by diesel generators to replace the existing three turbine generators. The new design included crucial phasing which utilized one of the existing turbine engines as an onsite temporary engine to be used as back-up for the diesel engines. DesignTech served as the prime consultant and design team project manager with the architect, structural engineer, acoustical engineer, and permit expediter working as sub-consultants to DesignTech.
