The project was the renovation of approximately 12,800 square foot of interior space and approximately 10,400 square foot of exterior courtyard space.

The scope of the interior renovation included the addition of (4) exam rooms (with new sink in each) and a Dental procedure suite (with 2 new sinks). New vacuum and air pumps were added to serve the new dental suite. The Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy area with (2) five person staff stations, (2) private offices, storage rooms, kitchenette, non-functioning A.D.L. bathroom, a 1-chair hair salon with sink, and workout/fitness/rehab area was renovated and expanded. The Dining room was expanded and a nourishment station, gift shop, media center, guard desk, and security office were added. The main entry vestibule was expanded and the entry canopy received new lighting. One existing bathroom at the front lobby was eliminated. The corridors associated with the renovated areas received new finishes and new lighting. The existing ceiling was re-used. Two courtyards were renovated and re-landscaped. New area drains were added, new landscape lighting and power was added, and a new fountain was installed. New landscape lighting and power was added to the front of the building where the dining room was expanded to create an outdoor dining area. A free standing smoking shelter was added to one side of the new dining room expansion on the front of the building. A new pulper machine was added to the dishwashing area of the existing kitchen. The existing electrical panels and transformers associated with the renovations were replaced with newer equipment. New energy efficient lighting was installed through-out the renovated areas, new VAV boxes were located above the new ceilings to serve the new areas and new plumbing piping was added to serve new devices.

The mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire suppression systems for the expansion and renovation were extensions of the base building systems.
